As a dry skin girly... this looks like a hard pass. I want to look glowy, but oh my... When you came back after the wear test, it looked like you just came back from the most intense cardio gym session ever 😭 That powder seemed to put up a good fight and as someone who doesn't love to set their whole face, I can't even imagine how this would wear without powder.

Well…if it looks that way on her it’s most likely because she has oily skin. On dry skin, it will look better especially if you put a thinner layer of the foundation on. Don’t be discouraged from trying something just because the product didn’t work for someone else :)

​@@Ath3na-yr8tm I mean yes in a sense, but although I have dry skin, I prefer my foundations to not be an oil slick. I have dry skin, but I also sweat a lot so it has to be able to hold up. Regardless, it's 81 dollars and I can't justify that.

I never understood why some people get upset about a negative review. Not everything works for everyone! I felt the same way about the Lady Gaga foundation. Just wayyyyy too oily on my skin as it wore throughout the day- my skin looked exactly like yours in this video. Great idea for dry skin- just not for us & that’s ok 😅

I tried this foundation today in Sephora and loved the way it looked on my combination skin. This foundation is more like skincare than foundation it made my skin look like skin but better; if you have dry skin this foundation is perfect for the fall and winter months. The glow on my mature skin was just beautiful but if you have oily skin then those foundation will need to be set with a powder.

Hi, thanks for the video. I think this is my 4th review video and yes, there are mixed reviews. It’s def not for an oily skin type. But, even with the other reviews. The skin looks so so good. If a touch up can be done. The foundations gives an expensive look as long as one is not looking for medium or full coverage. (besides the oily part). 😊

The only other mention I've seen about the Patrick Ta foundation was from Morgan Turner who said that everytime she touched or scratched her face she took foundation with her. I think this will sadly be a pass for me because of that even with my balanced to dry skin. I just can't get behind a foundation that doesn't set.

I swear I could see myself being reflected on your forehead 😂 ALSO Rom& recently came out with water stains like the Etude one! I've been using the shade 3 and find it much easier to use than the Etude one! It stains really evenly and not drying at all. Super watery stains like the etude one or benetint, I always struggle with them being patchy and my upper lip not being stained and I do not have any of the issues with the Rom& one yay. I hope to see you review them❤

Man i was so sad about the urban decay palette. I was so happy when i swatched 3 of the shimmers in store bc 2 of them were so smooth and satiny in a nice way and 1 was super shiny. So i swatched the rest of the shimmers and they were so chalky. The mattes did seem fine esp bc i dont like a powdery/pigmented matte. I prefer something hard pressed but the palette is mostly shimmers.

I’ve seen that Patrick Ta recommends if you’re on the oily side to skip moisturizer since this foundation is full of skincare benefits, and also helps with not adding to the already glowy finish. Would love to see you use the new MbM powder paired with a go to foundation of yours such as Dior Skin Glow. I feel like this powder is about to become the new “it girl” in the powder world ❤

I can’t justify spending that price on the foundation. Can you tell me if the L’Oréal serum skin tint is similar? It looks like it could be. I have dry skin and that L’oréal serum actually dried me out even though it has loads of hydrating ingredients, it’s pretty but looked kind of crusty at the end of the day unless I mixed it with something really glowy x
