I have a LG OLED tv. I seriously doubt that this could replace the Magic Remote that came with my LG tv. Even if it could, I wouldn’t try this at all. The LG OLED MAGIC REMOTE is a killer remote. The only complaint that I have with it is that it doesn’t have a back light to see in the dark. I never could understand why LG didn’t change that. In short, I am keeping what I got. Peace.

It is a fairly straightforward process. But... Although you can programme all the front buttons for IR. Only power button will work once the dongle is connected to your box, making the IR learning completely pointless.

@@petrussternegard5440 No that's not a true statement I was able to get the volume and the microphone buttons to work with the H96 Android box, and still have the dongle plugged in using the air mouse., they just need a better programmer to program it for the Fire Sticks remotes.

I've got this remote on the way. I was wondering if that was going to work. I'm suspecting that it may have to come down to the HDMI CEC function. I'll know Tuesday when I get the remote.

If CEC won't get it done, then I guess we'll have to pick a button that we don't care about and assign it as the tv specific on/off button by doing the remote's learning function.

Plug in the USB receiver then press the reset button on that USB receiver and you should be good to go

@Iptv World The infrared learning function "does not work with the Fire TV remote" the best I could get out of it was the power button to work, but the microphone and the volume buttons are non programmable, and the only reason I was able to get the power button to work I use the original remote control for my TV which is the standard Samsung remote. The learning functions on the Z10 sucks big time, what good is this remote if it don't have a microphone or volume buttons capabilities to replace all your other remotes...

@Iptv World Well that's fine and dandy maybe they should have incorporate using the SmartThings app to bridge the connection to make use of the AI voice functions, this really boils down to not enough planning and bad programming.
