It will depend on the rubric. Sometimes the answer and explanation are 1 point together and sometimes they are each 1 point. If it's 1 point together, then you would get no point for that part. If it's separate you'd get the first point but not the second. But remember, you can miss a lot of points and still earn a 5, since the exam is so difficult. 🤞🤞🤞 You get the score you wanted when they're released in July.

@sriramakammula624 the rubric will decide if it's one or two points for a question like that. Recently, they've been combining the answer and explanation into one point most of the time. But we won't be sure until a rubric is released. The FRQs are 1/3 of the score so each rubric point (there will be twenty) is worth 1.5 of the 90 total possible points.

I would start with MC practice (at reviewecon.com or AP classroom), then do some FRQ practice with released FRQ exams. Also play the ReviewEcon games, and the graph drawing practice. Lots of ways to study! Good luck!

The CB has multiple versions of the exams to help reduce the possibility of cheating. Most students in the US get one of the two released sets. You could get either set, or one of the unreleased versions.

Read questions carefully to ensure you understand what each question is asking. Beware of "NOT" and "EXCEPT" questions. And don't forget "when in doubt, graph it out." That means sketch a graph to see what happens if you are unsure. Good luck!
