I do own the double spiral piece from Quercetti Migoga but it no longer works after 5 years of limited use + prolonged storage. The marbles always get stuck on the first section of the spiral and I couldn't solve the problem by bending the piece. Eventually this is what happened to the piece🚮

As far as I know, the Quercetti and Imaginarium use 9/16" marbles honestly? So it's interesting, I guess. Also, since the Imaginarium seems to be designed for younger children I do feel like the softer plastic makes sense since it's less brittle and quieter than hard plastic, which might also be why it's easier to take the support columns apart as well. The inconsistent sizes though, that's not really great.

I used to have the second set like you however mine had a chain lift plus a second set that had the switches and double spiral I offered them away I do currently have imaginearum this has a chain lift and uses metal ball bearings

sorry, but not all Made In China are such fragile,but I think they should get it more stable.
