As a fellow Ancient Gear, die hard, I found your analysis very refreshing and honest. The card indeed has more cons than pros. I experimented with it on EDOPro, and I could not get it to synergise with the other cards. It was causing many of the problems you mentioned, and I simply decided to exclude it, and the deck played much better. Could you explain the Howitzer fact you mentioned about it not being once per turn.

Of course my friend. The only part of howitzers effects that is once per turn is the burn for 1000 damage. Its effect on destruction to summom from deck during the damage step is not. So if your opponent destroys howitzer by battle, you can summon tanker from the deck reviving howitzer via tankers on summon effect. When they destroy howitzer the second time, you could summon wyvern or dark golem to search. This effectively turns 1 howitzer as a defense, into two howitzers and two other ancient gear monsters making a 4 monster wall that can also set up for next turn if you search advance or whatever you need.

@TurtleTactics Thanks for the response, tactics. A strange thing happened. I was playing with my AG deck on EDOPro, and even before I read your response, I realised what you were saying. The tanker revival tactic (no pun intended) that you mentioned allowed me to revive my Howitzer and go straight into Dark Golem for a next turn set up. Thanks for the clarity and the kind response.

New to the channel not sure if it’s your style of content, but would you potentially consider uploading your own deck breakdown/profile of AG for competitive.

I did that before on a different channel but for some reason when i do deck profiles it attracts toxic comments 😂 im always more than happy to go through my list on live streams though!

Great analysis. If i run this i night run 2 Dark and 2 OG Golem since it has to be the OG for Dragons effect.

I have a quick question, would you have played it if it was a monster negate instead of a spell and trap one
@TurtleTactics5 ай бұрын
Not at all. What type of negate it is doesn't matter to me, its the design of the card that holds it back.
