IMPORTANT AFTER-VIDEO THOUGHTS: What makes the complaints I’ve made about modern FNaF sit more sour with me was that I was originally going to play FNaF Plus as a form of escapism. The game felt like a return to form; true horror, disturbing undertones, and a creepy atmosphere despite me seeming the FNaF Plus animatronics inferior to the originals. That, and there was no science fiction and overly complicated lore in sight. But after the Phisnom drama went its course, and now in a punishment I believe went a bit too far, FNaF Plus is completely gone (Yes, I know he voluntarily left and terminated the contract; but did they have to get rid of FNaF Plus?) So long went my return to form; my break from the reality that is modern FNaF, and now I’m left with the Mimic, a villain who I’ve become super unsure of after recording for this video. After those videos came out from FuhNaff and ID Fantasy with extremely solid evidence (minus FuhNaff’s Rockstar Fredbear idea) that Ed the Savage showed here: (14:22), I started to have doubts once again about what I said in this video. (Because if you somehow haven’t already noticed, the script for this video was written before Dittophobia was leaked; August 1st in fact) Is the Mimic its own thing like I started to believe and said in this video, or is it both Elizabeth and Charlotte fighting a battle of good and evil in a husk of what was meant to be a replacement for Charlotte made by Henry, as potentially represented by the Nightmarionne plushies (a twisted Charlotte in a sense), which was something I used to believe and am now reconsidering? I don’t know, and I guess I’ll have to wait until the next game, FNaF VR: Help Wanted 2. Given those recent videos I saw that fed into past videos from MatPat, FuhNaff, and ID Fantasy, I’m inclined to believe the Elizabeth/Charlotte idea, especially considering how the next game has a heavy focus on Sister Location, and RUIN as well as other FNaF media having circus theming as of late (Even the FNaF VR 2 booth at PAX West showed Baby’s head hooked up to some sort of network). Elizabeth may just be her agony instead as potentially shown by the story of Eleanor in Frights. Maybe Elizabeth in some way, shape, or form, actually is the CEO of Fazbear Entertainment LLC like my old timeline said, but nothing’s for certain. Overall, I’m just not sure that things can get any worse from here. And yes, the game is still in B Tier, given how jumbled it all was and how evidence for any possibility was spread so thin that I kept going back and forth. Oh, and about the final Tales book, I already knew about the Nightmares being prototypes of Funtime technology before Dittophobia (the only difference was gas instead of illusion discs) as well as the fact that the Fredbear plush was William, but the thing that changed my old timeline for me was the genuine manipulation William was doing to Crying Child, trying to turn him and Michael against one another. Because of that, my timeline took a big hit.

I absolutely do NOT apologize for calling the inclusion of the mimic a retcon, in fact I wish to further support that argument with evidence pulled from the code of the original Security Breach, the main reason everyone thought that the Burntrap ending was originally the canon ending is not just cuz it’s the only ending that isn’t a comic, but cuz the game literally SAID SO! If you look at the Switch Files of Security Breach, you’ll see that it’s LITERALLY labeled as, and I quote, “True Ending: Burntrap” Everywhere I look people try to defend the longevity of the Princess Quest ending, saying how this is only the true ending in Gregory’s mind, but to me that just feels like we’re trying to convince ourselves that the franchise’s writing didn’t get ruined like the Pizzaplex. I said it once, I said it a thousand times, and I’ll say it again; the Mimic, is, a, RETCON
