I'm totally putting "You" on my TBR because if Joe was actually more unhinged in the book than he was in the tv series, I'm all for it!! I want to know what was ACTUALLY going through Joe's mind because in the tv series, I was allowing myself to forget that he was a bad guy 😅

That’s so funny, I wanted the same thing, but quickly found out that sometimes I don’t know what the hell I want 😂😂😂 But if you’re looking for fully unhinged Joe without the slightest bit of humanity, you’re gonna LOVE “You.” I think a lot of us were blinded by Joe’s charm and past struggles in the TV series. And we clearly love a guy who’s a hopeless romantic. But the book - I promise - is about a different damn Joe 😂 Let me know what you think of it when you get around to reading it. 🙏

Other than being a dark romance junkie, I'm also a fan of true crime so serial killers fascinate tf out of me! 😂 I've only read one book that has made me feel uncomfortable ("My Dark Vanessa" by Kate Elizabeth Russel) and I can't pinpoint why because I've read taboo, morally black/grey books that have challenged my morals without batting an eye (it really was a good book though). I'm all for books that make me FEEL something though. I don't care which emotion/feelings it provokes, as long as it's not boredom 😅 I'll for sure let you know my thoughts on the book!

I love love love your videos. I appreciate your very honest reviews, and as someone who recently got back into reading, I am constantly looking for recs to add to my ever growing tbr. It is also comforting to see another wife and mother making time for self/ self care, I must admit that it can be difficult to do, but you inspire me to make the time. I am proud to say that I am almost at my goal of reading 50 books this year, which included some BiG Freida hits, lol. Loved the Housemaid and Never Lie. I am also trying to get into fantasy/romantacy, so I will be adding one or two of the recs that you mentioned. I think I remember you said that you are not a historical fiction fan🤔, but I am currently reading Yellow Wife. It's heavy, but it's a great read. Do you think that you would start a book club? If you do sign me up. It would be fun to join the group and yap about books 😊

You deserve it. I’ve been hearing about Yellow Wife all over. People also really love The Nightingale - there must be something to it. I’m gonna dip my toe into historical fiction one day, and when I do, I’m gonna start with those two. As for the book club question, yes!!!
