Reviewing EVERY EA Sports BIG Game - NFL Street

EA Sports BIG takes a shot at trying to replicate the success of NFL Blitz with this entry called NFL Street. Can the Madden developer make a great arcade game?

I still play NFL Street from time to time, have a whole completed NFL Challenge team and everything. Defense in the game gets better when you have them upgraded to crazy levels though, for me it’s all sacks and interceptions. There are actually crazy in depth guides to NFL Challenge mode and all the ways you can build a team and such. But maybe I’ve played the game too much since 03.

SSX was supposed to be the subject of this video, but there were errors shipping the game to me. I had to move on to something else. The next EA Sports BIG video will be SSX.

@@GameDayonYT Why not emulate the game on PCSX2 while keeping the original aspect ration?

For PS2 Era games and beyond I try to stay with the original hardware. Of course, there are times where I'm going to have to emulate, but I try to avoid it so I can get the most faithful version of the game. Although I did try emulating SSX, but it wasn't running properly for whatever reason. Frames would drop, audio would mess up, and the snow appeared gray instead of white. That's weird because I can run Metal Gear Solid 3 just fine on it. Oh well it doesn't matter now.

The one minor thing that always annoyed me about these games is there's multiple unique running animations/walk styles. But there's no way to actually pick them. I always wanted the one they gave Urlacher and Lawrence Taylor but you can only pick a preset of players and hope it was given to the right position.
