Nah, they have really different atmosphere. i make videos for both of them. and i get that warm and comfy feeling when i make the new vegas videos .

There's also some nice mods that adds some interesting places to Novac. Like Novac Public Library which involves you helping a ghoul set up a library in town while ultimately finding out more about his past, I'd say it ties in well with the Autumn Leaves mod. There's also a bar added as well as a repairman with a troubled past living in a shack, both are added to Novac with the New Vegas Bounties II mod & both are involved with some of the mod's quests.

I wish there was a mod that changed these places to not look as dilapidated. I get they're impoverished and can't replace old world furniture but at least paint the dino green where the skin wore off and put some brahmin leather curtains for the rooms instead of boards.

Boone is unchanged in Novac overhaul mod because the NCR overhaul mod changes Boone to Dragbody's series.

I use Barf's Novac overhaul, along with Encounters of the Mojave: Novac and Nelson, also with NV Bounties II so there can be that saloon in the southern part of town

So they are all okay or awful with no in between. I think adding a clinic and walls and greenery were the best ideas that no mod had all at the same time

The novac overhaul and gun runners emporium one is decent too. Next I will most likely do camp mccarren if it has enough mods. Hopefully those will be a bit better and atleast no one will add random buildings into camp mccarren

I especially like the walls, I saw that and I was like "oh yeah! That makes a lot of sense actually, why not help out those snipers by putting up a super basic barrier." Having a clinic is also a good idea, if the people of Novac could have gotten their hands on a doctor.

I like that you don't put these in a ranking and instead just go through them all and give your honest criticism. Too many youtube channels are way too forgiving on mods, they just say nothing but generic good things about them even when they have glaring issues.

I point the flaws out to encourage the modders to improve the mod or maybe encourage other modders to make something better than the one I am criticizing. Ofcourse all of this is people's passion projects, so even if the mod is broken as hell, it doesn't matter because they just made it for fun.

Ncr uses Enclave vertis as they cheaped out on repainting them 😂 Also Dragbody npc series are to fit with his mods, he has a couple of them, I think the NCR redone had Boone

The woozyness in Novac Oasis could have been interesting if that was actually part of a small storyline, like, I dunno, maybe it's a side effect of some sketchy, pre-war experimental chemical product they had been using to make the soil really fertile, maybe a defective GECK, or maybe you're drugged and the greenery is all a hallucination (a mirage, you could even say). But I guess it's not a feature, just a bug. Wait, Novac Overhaul just overhauls the people? Why is it _Novac_ Overhaul, then? I'll for sure check out Novac Reopened, I like what that one looks like. I would like you to review Jacobstown and Nellis AFB mods, please. Those places could use a little love, in my opinion.
