I think if you were to Judge Freo based off of preseason predictions, they definitely exceeded expectations. Sitting 3rd with 4 rounds to go when they were expected to finish anywhere between 12th-18th is good no matter what spin you put on it. If we rate them based on what we’ve seen throughout the year tho… Yeah, they should really have their own category right at the bottom

From how Collingwood started this season i think they did underachieve but this current Collingwood team is borderline finals side. 9th place shows that, if one of the 2 draws we had went in Collingwoods favor we are in the finals for sure. The flag in 2023 was a culmination of a team in there prime and ready to win one. I felt that you could see Melbourne's slide down the ladder coming but not Port Adelaide coming in 2nd, definitely not Hawthorn either. Just wish Carlton missed the 8 😪😪😪😪
