This movie should’ve been longer with Donald trying to scare the evil queen, the surprise Halloween celebrity spotlight, the cartoons how to camp, Pluto get the paper: spaceship, & Little bad wolf, and a much better final battle.

Your review was great, Simon! Your review is actually quite similar to Jambareeqi’s. He also criticized the fact that House of Mouse’s format doesn’t work for a feature movie, plus how the story is convuluted, anticlimactic and just poorly told.

I am thinking of a Fanfiction crossover with Harry Potter and the house of Mouse. Have the Death Eater and Tom m Riddle join the Disney's Villains to take over the Fanfiction and it's up to Harry Potter and Mickey Mouse to save the day , can the Boy who lived and the Mouse king of Disney do it ?. or will the Bad guys win ?

I'm the same as you in that "House of Mouse" was one of my earliest introductions to Mickey Mouse and friends. I've always been aware of how underwhelming the framing material in "Mickey's House of Villains" was (awesome villain song notwithstanding), but I didn't realize that it was a plot hole for the villains to just continue playing more Mickey cartoons rather than switching tone with more villain-centric segments, like, I dunno, "Night on Bald Mountain" from "Fantasia". Also, am I the only one who felt weirded out by Pete being a background character here, considering he's supposed to be the main antagonist of the "House of Mouse" series?
