Hope this video is helpful for any of you shopping the Beautylish Giftcard Event! It’s the best time to pick up Sonia G. brushes! :)

Ok, I felt validated when you started talking about not being the biggest fan of Sonia G’s blender brushes. I’ve had a hard time with them and I end up using the rephr crease brushes more. I do have smaller eyes but I’ve also come to realize that I like a a more blunt/domed blender brush rather than a tapered one. I don’t get to play with makeup much anymore and have to do things quickly and efficiently. But I felt like I was doing something wrong since I tend to not reach for them and many people love them!😂

Glad I’m not the only one! I definitely prefer my Rephr crease brushes even though the Sonia G. ones feel more luxurious. I have been enjoying her Traditions Select eye brushes though. I picked those up in the latest sale.

This has been helpful .. i want so many of her brushes! 😅 also would love to see more brush videos, and also see how you store brushes- when in use, not in use, when traveling etc

Glad it was helpful! I’ve been using the Kusshi signature makeup bag when traveling, so if you’re curious, you can see how I store my makeup brushes in the video where I first reviewed that product. More brush content to come! :)

it does sound like perhaps you’d enjoy the Traditions S3/T3/TS3 variety of crease brushes from the brand more than the ones that are already in your collection! Still a beautiful look you got with them regardless.

Has my comment just been deleted ? I didn’t write anything negative ? Well I hope it was by mistake because otherwise I would totally feel offended …..

Weird! Maybe try posting it again (I never saw it)? It seems like the YT filters are really aggressive or glitchy

@@areteanbeauty aww, I’m happy to know it wasn’t deleted as it wasn’t anything offensive at all ~ I was only saying that with Sonia G’s crease brushes I found that what worked was to have a clean one to only use for blending the shadow out. Also, applying a crease shade first helps alot especially if you’re very fair .. cause PMG shadows are way too pigmented or just go with a little dot of color and spread it out ( which can take ages I know 🫣😂)I’ve been enjoying Sonia G’s traditions trio brushes with PMG palettes recently as they are squirrel bristles & apply softer. I would love to know what are your favourite crease brushes as they’re the ones I struggle the most with as well . ~ for me the perfect crease brush would be one with squirrel hair with a slightly flat top to help diffuse the colour ~ also you made me want to pull my mothership out it’s stunning ! Imagine this same makeup adding a bit of the pink from the Love palette from ND as crease shade & edges 😍 I need to try it AsaP ! Crazy how you’re able to make RED so soft & wearable 😍♥️👌🏼 It was painful to see you struggle with the "purple" brown shade but made me giggle xoxo

@innadream3087 Thanks for the tips! I just ordered Sonia G.’s Traditions Select eye brushes in the Beautylish gift card event, so I’m very excited to try those out! My favorite crease brushes are the OG ones from Wayne Goss, but he discontinued those a while back. When I’m not using those, I’ve been enjoying the ones from Rephr, especially their mini eye brush line. They aren’t the most comfortable (slightly scratchy), but I love the sizes/shapes, and the stiffness helps to blend out highly pigmented shadows. Haha, yeah, that’s probably the one shade in my entire PMG collection that gives me the most grief! In general, the mattes in Bronze Seduction are harder for me to use than the mattes in her other palettes since they are so pigmented. Glad you liked the red eye look!
