Outgoings 9/10, Incomings 7/10. Overall, a good window for overhauling the squad and adding exciting talent. We got our “now” signing in Solanke and his addition pushes us up a level. The “kids” are impressive and will push for starters minutes. Werner is a really good insurance policy. Most of the negative voices here forget that the common denominator of all incoming players is high character AND motivation to be part of this Spurs project. Most of the other high profile names are either too expensive for their output and/or just want European football regardless of who they play for. It’s awesome that we passed on those guys for sure. Is everyone forgetting the transfer plan for Ange which is getting players that can play multiple positions? Thats a key part in our depth as well. Instead of having players that have a set role, you have some that are versatile. Thats why I’m not too worried. People worrying about LCB and shit like we don’t have Radu. You don’t need to have a left foot to play CB. If you need a leg specific leg to play that role then this sport isn’t for you. Ange has talked about that last season and called it nonsense to even worry so much about that and he’s absolutely right. Calm tf down. Aside from Werner, we had a decent window.

Guys can we please judge the window after the season. It makes no sense to do it now. Because we don’t actually know how ready (the young) players are. Look at the window in 2019 we splashed the money and thought we got the new Pogba and now he’s only eating burgers, what I want to say only because you spend more money or get a player with a bigger name it doesn’t mean they’re better. I think the motivation for this window was let’s build up the squad because we are “only” in the UEl and next year we are hopefully in the UCL and can strengthen the first 11.

We are a 4th to 6th place team. We have to accept it with Levy in charge..... Ange is doing a decent job reshaping the squad and there are some promising young players but everyone else has improved as well. Until we recruit better and have a chairman who is bold and on occasion prepared to spend £100m on the right player we have no chance to win the title.

The one issue about the wingers is that Chiesa, Sancho, and Sterling are all inside forwards, and won’t be players that play on the touch line as Ange would like. That begs the question, are those type of wingers only gonna be 18-22 year olds before their legs give out? Overall, the transfer window was 5.5/10, but the players have potential.

Based on Levy’s statement of incorporating analytics (Billy Ball), we’ll frequently get signings that will make us scratch our heads only to later realizes that the scouting was excellent. We all wanted good striker, winger, number 6, and perhaps left-sided defensive cover. Seems disappointing to get Solanke, Odebert, no number 6, and no left-sided cover. My rating is a 5. That’ll be upgraded if Levy used analytics properly and the signings provide real quality per pound. We probably won’t know for a few months how well we did.

Levy does not 100% trust in "Ange ball" and not ready to invest heavily in "Ange's" players for this project. It was a great window. Financially great. Squad great. Outgoings almost everyone who needs to go is gone. Incomings we have a squad that matches Anges style exactly but at least we have solid direction. Now all we need is 1 a LCB, 2 a CDM, 3 a couple wbs. We have no massive problems with this squad. Now we get to upgrade probably 6-7 squad positions but we can do that over the next 2-3 windows with 2 big signings a window to fill in where the youth are not. For Spurs it was a solid B window. Can’t start the season negative. We have depth. I’d put money on a top 4 finish. We shouldn’t have a run of 10 games with no defense. I don’t like the style but at least the squad matches it better and our depth has improved

Werner was a shocking piece of business. Unforgivable considering how bad he was last year. Can't beat a man for pace and lacks the skill to do it, a bit like son in terms of his age. Ange Postecoglou is just another manager who will fail at Tottenham Hotspur FC, just like those before him. He won't achieve anything under ENIC. He'll just be another casualty. If ENIC really wanted success, they would have achieved it under Mauricio Pochettino. We were two or three world-class players away from winning major trophies, but Daniel Levy refused to provide the necessary backing for the manager. I also don't believe some of the signings under Postecoglou are what he really wanted; most of them are club signings. We don't have proper backup for Guglielmo Vicario, Vdv,Porro and Destiny Udogie. Our top players like Cristian Romero, Vdv and Pedro Porro will leave if they can't win trophies here, and this cycle will continue again and again. We are left with nothing but shattered dreams.

@@sonsational8590He’s not been bad for us, a couple of goals and a few assists in the second half of last season. I didn’t particularly want the signing for this season as he is frustrating in front of goal but he’s still our player so I want him to do well. Werner was underwhelming at Chelsea but he was better than Sterling at Chelsea, Sancho at Man Utd, Chiesa has struggled with fitness in the last couple of years. The window is shut now so let’s back the players we do have and get on with what’s happening on the pitch rather than all the transfer gossip bullshit.
