@@desicurly Hi Deepika, one of my favourites for a while has been the Super Smelly which I think i tried after watching one of your videos, this usually gives me 3-4 days definition for my 3a and some 3b curls. I do need a light leave in conditioner, was mostly using the LBP coconut water regular conditioner with squish to condish method, so very diluted. Sometimes the Cantu shea leave in, but a really small amount or hair gets weighed down. Also light hold gels never did much for me as fine hair is extremely light and floaty and does need some weight. Another that usually works is the Taft Marathon by Schwarzkopf

@@pujas134 Another thing is after years of having thinning hair from breakage with CGM, I've now gone back to silicones and it really helps to protect my hair length. Even the SLES shampoos seem to be less stripping on my hair than sulfate-free ones, as long as I choose the right kind. Also realised they're lighter than the oils and butters in most CGM products which seem to be more for coarser curls, and build up in my hair more than cones.

I have tried both flaxseed and aloe vera based gels. For some reason, gels with majority of flaxseeds extract worked better in combating frizz and providing definition. For context, my hair is 2b and they are mixed, for example, some strands are thick, some are coarse, and on the back of my head, they are fine. The fine ones are easier to maintain.

True♥️ fine isnt as demanding as coarse. The thicker it gets, more demanding it gets. Yes flaxseed gel is best most economical DIY hairgel that is bound to give hold. Aloe vera only if it has more supporting ingredients and less thickner

@@Reshma2516 Hi, i am currently loving moisture gel by Arata, the blue one. It softens my coarse strands but the hold is not that strong. I have also picked up the moisture gel by Moxie, and it has both flaxseeds and alovera extracts. It provides a better hold than Arata. Protein based gels and products don't suit me so i only use moisture gels. I like both these gels for different reasons.

Hey yes absolutely! Just make sure to dilute it between hands with water before applying on hair. Its thick na so that makes it tricky to use

Deeeepikkkaaa. So true that FMC jelly and curl up ultra defining gel do not suit fine hair. I wish someone had told me I got such bad build up and oily hair with both of them. Hey if it looks frizzy and dull in humid weather then it could be lack of gel. Cant survive humidity without gel If its actually dry and rough to touch then it could be many things - tooooo much curl up cream or not distributing it properly or not enough moisturising for your hair. The last resort should be to change products because 90% times we arent using them correctly which is something we will then experience with new products too If you need to change at the end then I have a separate video on curl cream and leave-ins too

Hello Deepika, I just did my first curly hair routine today on my wavy hair. The results are not satisfactory though I spent alot of time doing all the finger coiling and stuff. The front part is amazing, it is the way how it was supposed to be, however the back region is just normal without frizz because I applied gel. Can you tell me if I did any mistakes or what I do next, also I used curlvana gel and loreal hyaluron moisture night cream and streax serum. I did the styling on wet hair(not sopping). Thank you!

Hi Vishakha, you can skip the serum for now. Not everyone needs it. Also fingercoiling is not an ideal styling method for beginners. Its very time consuming, tiring and results are that great. Instead practice something you can be quick at with time. Mistakes will happen and one trial wont make you perfect. Practice makes us perfect at it. So make mistakes, observe, learn from them and try again. This will go one for few months before you start understanding your hair better and better and better. Watch my playlist called CURLY HAIR ROUTINE STEP BY STEP. Follow that. I discourage fingercoiling absolutely. But from my videos you can learn styling with brushes and combs instead. Also recently I put 2 shorts videos on my curly hair styling routine. That’s something I do for extreme definition and its very detailed - hence in two parts. Watch these videos and follow step by step.

Hi, the ones suggested for fine and thin hair na. Select among those Low porosity just means healthy hair - it has nothing to do with thin hair or hair getting weighed down and neither is it a deciding factor

Hard hold wax is not a good idea for curly hair unless your are making an updo. You want to have natural movement in hair then wax isn’t a great option

Hi, Mumbai weather is super humid most of the year - true! Its a real pain for curly hair honestly! Volume gel is amazing but for weather as humid as mumbai you might need more hold. But also you have fine hair so hard hold gels might be too much for your hair. I’ll suggest you give a try to bestlife curly hair gel. Check my new video from yesterday - thats what I used on my friends wavy hair. You might have to play around the quantity but the stylers are amazing and so easy to work with. Hi, scalpe pro is a good shampoo for dandruff. You must have already seen my dandruff shampoo related videos As for dove curly hair range, I cant predict if it will work for your hair or not. Dry, frizzy, unmanageable, tangled is what describes all wavy and curly heads but not more than that. No dear everything I mentioned is for wavy AND curly hair thats why I keep repeating in the video “WAVY or CURLY, Wavy or curly”. Wavy and curly hair products are same. The products suggested for thick and coarse hair will work for both wavy as well as curly - basically medium to strong hold ones

Use two shampoos one for scalp one for hair length. For the rest of the routine check my recent video on wavy hair routine. Complete routine demonstrated on my friends wavy hair. Oh and low porosity hair is just a term for healthy hair. Its not something you should consider for buying products or even for anything. Not a useful characteristic. I have made videos on this topic too

Hey that one also works for all curl types but it highly depends how much weight your hair can take. I would suggest instead of using tiny amount of leave-in, use tiny amount of gelly instead. Increase next time if required. But dont get it if you have thin strand width irrespective of density. High chances fine hair cant take it well

Perming ka mujhe zada idea nahi hai but I think baal to frizzy rahega agar curls open rahenge. Styling products to use karna padega agar extreme definition chahie but gel use karna padega ya nahi ye apko hi decide karna padega. Sirf cream se kam nahi chal raha to gel lena pad skta hai

Hi, low porosity mean healthy hair. Porosity determines how damaged our hair is. It will help us know how much attention our hair needs. Hey Deepika! So, I have wavy hair (2b), but I use all curly hair products (Fix my curls gel and B-blunt curl cream) and my hair typically looks curly, closer to coils after air drying. But my natural patterns are wavy and well slightly on the curly side. Lil confused hair lol. My curls also get loose after a point. So, I am a bit confused if I should look for wavy hair products and not curly hair products.. I want curl patterns to look like beachy curls if that makes sense. I also don't know if there are products specifically for wavy hair because a lot of it kinda overlaps. So, do you have any recommendations?

Hi, the spray is good for refreshing waves when they are too stretched out. But for styling you should be using something with more hold. The spray wont help in that. Watch my videos on styling…you can follow same technique and scrunch well at the end. Quantity of stylers required for wavy hair can be bit less so that’s something you can experiment with

I’ll not suggest using a leave-in conditioner as well as cream too. And then a gel too🥲 very few people need all three of them since leave-in conditioner and cream are almost same. Check my video on this topic I have explained the difference very well

If you curly hair length gets very tangled and unmanageable without styling products then its a good idea to get a cream or leave-in conditioner for the sake if it’s health ♥️ if its okay and you can manage with just shampoo and conditioner then you dont have to
