Bardwood Grove was a total dud for us. Played with everything from the start, and I cannot imagine playing without. Either way, the gameplay loop of "taking a few 10 second long turns, then you have to take an 8 minute long turn" isn't fun, and it just feels like the same thing over and over. Movement felt pointless since it's somewhat symmetrical, so half the time we just didn't move turn after turn. Bleggghhh

The gameplay for Fractured Sky makes this game on par with Kingdomino, and the price should match. The components are waste of plastics. It is a very very expensive light game, that people that purchased it try to justify its cost by saying that it is fast engaging game...well buy either Kingdomino, World Wonders or Ra...and for the price of the deluxe, you can buy all 3 😂

nahh id rather kingdomino than fractured sky.. feels like they know they dont have much of a game so deluxe is the path they chose for max profit

There are different editions, and I think the retail has less of the plastic components, if I am not mistaken!

@@BoardGamingRamblings Sure, less plastics samey gameplay experience for 55€+shipping (in EU). I can definitely think of quite a lot games with better gameplay and better components for that price. This game doesn't worth the price they are asking for it, but if a person insist that this is a great value game, I can say "good for you".

Fractured Sky is a weird one, it’s a medium light game but it is so expensive. It says something about perceived value, like if a game is super produced does it have to be a heavy or “miniatures”. I have plenty of fun little games but they are less than half the price. I don’t know, it is a good little game, it’s a weird one.

We have done this one at least once before, and it will continue to be a mix. When we do newer games, we will do more of these, and the normal keep or cull episodes will mostly stay the same :D Glad you enjoyed it :D
