vegas ran outa energy- they lack the depth to resist the constant onslaught- even game 1 our worst game was still not awful- we were doing all the everything vegas just got their goals and saves in a timely manor- and sometimes luck outpaces skill. tis physics- and i expect vegas to get some energy back and produce a game- but roll 4 lines and all your best traits are things dallas can do with every line. yeah i dont see it working out for vegas. otter specifically just doesnt have two bad games in a row. as a vegas player or managament youre lookin at dallas like the boogie man- the best the west could possibly put in front of you- if vegas manages they will have to wait till the finals for a like skill team to be against them. cause the jets and avs are nowhere near dallas. they just have a few players better than our best one. but look at the cats and theyre like dallas- look at rangers and theyre like dallas- they can roll lines and rely on their goalies truly. thats whats waiting for a vegas that gets past dallas. and if they get too injured getting there theyll have less surprise factor to bring. i fully expect the east to win the cup- because if dallas is out- thats pretty much it or the west. everyone else has a crack to take advantage of.

dallas found their next gear- now theyre gonna be harder to beat. i suspect it ends in game 6. otter and wyatt have no answer too. and we can answer their top line with our 4th. vegas was lucky to win game 2 and now theyre gonna see if luck can get em a 3rd win. i dont think they can get that 4th one at all.

This is what I love about this Dallas team we just don't give up we were top 5 in the league in comebacks and we fought our way back into the series Johnston pulls out a goal again when I least expect it so happy we got him and we have him for a lot more years hopefully.

I don’t think it’s the hate for Vegas Golden Knights. People like seeing fresh Stanley Cup matches and it can get relatively boring if you have a team win Stanley Cups 2-3 times in a row. This is coming from someone who’s a Blackhawks fan who seen them win 3 Stanley cups and I was bored of that.

Man it really felt like losing this game would be losing the series as a whole. Really proud of how the stars played tonight, especially in the 3rd. Usually when we park the bus, it seemed to have always failed in games such as against Colorado earlier in the year. I was very impressed with how they did it in the 3rd against Vegas though. Absolute perfection and left Vegas very frustrated.

As I woke up this morning (here in Europe), the name Ty Dellandrea came to my mind, and I had not even thought of hockey yet. I thought something like: "That's odd. That's never happened before. What a random 4th liner's name all of a sudden. I wonder if he scored the winning goal or something." And imagine my surprise when I watched the NHL highlights and Dellandrea DID score the winning goal! I'm not usually telepathic.

That third period i was losing my mind. I thought they were playing with fire, and Vegas had their chances, but everyone did their job to make sure a stick didn't get on that puck. Guess i gotta take back my slander from game 2 back. Hintz especially had that block before the empty netter. That was pretty gutsy. And Otter was good after that leaky first goal. Had to have some key saves near the end. Keep it up. Wyatt Johnston is so hot right now. Follow that kid!

Coming from a Vegas fan, the biggest difference these past two games has been the devil magic that Shannon summoned by saying Dallas would get swept. This has nothing to do with the players' skill or any coaching adjustments, fatigue, etc. It is only said devil magic, 100%.

I was going to throw the series loss to coach Pete not adapting play styles and lines. But game two proved to me that he’s got it figured out. The stars have plenty of talent to have swept the knights if coached correctly

Thank god we have a 2-2 series. This must be the most lopsided 1st round in a long time. Every other series is 3-1 except the NYR sweep and the 4-1 Florida win.

Next round should go crazy tho, NYR v Carolina, Boston v. Florida, CO v Vegas/Dallas and Edmonton v Vancouver (all likely matchups). Hard to predict any of those

Vegas defense #7 and #27 blew the game. Penalties and bad turnovers becoming much to common for these two lately. Stone line didn’t perform for 2 games. If Vegas doesn’t simplify their game and shoot the puck on net instead of overpassing constantly, I fear they may lose the series in 6.

Dallas had been building up luck for 3 games and they finally got it back this game. Definitely some luck for Dallas. That 3rd Dallas goal is 90% on Thompson. He went into his RVH on his post way too early and let Smith have free reign even if it went off Delly's shoulder.

No way Dallas will win because DeBoer has gravy on his tie, Oettinger doesn’t wet his toothbrush before brushing his teeth. Dadanov eats Gummi Bears on his borscht, and Pavelski eats his own boogers. Don’t laugh. This “reverse criticism” approach worked for me and my buddies when my Blues finally won the Cup 5 years ago. We tried to outdo each other with Blues “insults” and why they couldn’t win. Some of them were hilarious. Hopefully it will work for the Stars against the LTIR Medical Miracles.

As a colorado fan, I'm cheering for the stars. I would much rather play dallas than vegas. We don't matchup well with them. Their big, mobile brick-wall defense will give us a lot of problems. But i'm genuinely surprised that the knights dropped two games, i thought they were going to sweep the stars, or finish them up in 5. They look tired, and many of their core players are probably injured too.

I'm more than a little worried about Dallas playing five D-men per game basically. As if all the Vegas "depth" isn't enough, Dallas is basically going with a short bench every game. Lundkvist logged a total of 3:30 in games 3 and 4. Granted he looked terrible and they're probably better off without him, but that's going to catch up to them eventually if they move on.

Unfortunate that both these teams on paper are better than their teams last year yet only one will go to the SECOND ROUND and it’s been a way better series than the WCF last year. Last year it was evident that the Kraken tired Dallas out going into the WCF and it was too little too late come Game 6.

Stars have looked better for the first 3 games of the series and ended up 1-2. Vegas looked like the better team last night, but Dallas won Idk what's going on this series lol. Hopefully the Stars can get one in a rocking AAC Wednesday! Also as far as the weird bounce shots. Vegas won games 1 and 2 off of wild bounces on at least half the shots. Why is it expected when Vegas does it but when the Stars do it they're lucky

dallas is doing it- vegas ran outa the energy they saved by holding the ltir stone- whose dissafuckinpeared since game 1 and 2. our lines are deep, and this is what depth gets ya. our 4th line is second wave players lik tydel and smith- and they looked like they were going to score since theyve been up- maybe marchy should just take his time that way when we do get him back hes not just renegging our quality with the current lines. this was a dallas game, they just dont stop- and it stacks from one game to the next. vegas doesnt belong here this time- and someones gonna prove it- Dallas is in the best position to do so. if they move on to face the next team that teams prolly wont have as big of a chance to win against vegas. so if vegas pulls an uno reverse and pulls the dallas depth down somehow- the west is in danger. vegas might not belong here- but unlike washington they actually have something in there that can be super dangerous to the westerns best. the east is just crazy stacked so i expect on of them to win rangers canes or the monster cats. whoever vegas would have to play would be the first dallas level threat theyd have in the playoffs. thats why i say dallas has the best chance.

there was a ton of road wins in the first round last year. Tampa Leafs almost all games were won on the road. Same with NYR and NJD. Plus all the other road wins in all the other series. So that means Dallas is in trouble because they have more home ice games.

I cheered for Vegas that first year, then things got ridiculous. Dallas hasn’t won in 25 years, so they deserve another opportunity. They also didn’t have Robertson on LTIR all year and he magically heals up at the perfect time.

Not impressed with the knights or the stars. The stars supposedly generated over 60 high danger chances in 4 games, very few of them have gone in. They are lacking game breaking finishers and they can't seem to hold a lead, always come from behind. VGk look uninterested and disjointed. They quit playing hockey after 2 great games. The cup is coming back to east in june.
