Just found out the black writing on the silver plate at 18:43 is Enzo Ferrari's signature, thanks to Doug deMuro :D

Great review! I truly appreciate your research and comparison with the Elite version. BTW, have you seen the 1:18 BBR Enzo Ferrari? It's a masterpiece of craftsmanship. It comes at a steep price, but worth it if you're a fan of the Enzo. Keep up the great work!

Outstanding video. Informative, excellent coverage/angles and superb picture quality - it's almost like being in a showroom.

Great review. I'm on the look out for an Enzo as it is the only Ferrari out of the "Big 5" I don't have. They don't come up for sale to often he in Australia, as I think only a few manufacturers made the wnzo in a 1/18 scale

Great review. I also have this model. What bothers me: The rear wheels aren't wide enough, especially compared to the F40. or am I wrong?

The Enzo is such a dichotomy vehicle for me. On the one hand, I find it not so nice, but on the other hand, it is still pretty impressive. Hmm, model looks good. Many Greetings :)

Thanks for the review, however, i ended not getting the hw enzo. The average price is high in my country, and the elite even moreso. I ended up getting the FXX Super Elite instead, which is around double the price, however also twice as good and statistically rare. In case you want to buy a FXX as well, here is my guide: FXX (Baseline): - Poor engine quality, looks very blobby and unpainted. - Ok interior, however unpainted - Rear grille is just clear plastic, or black plastic in Evo version. Overall, I'd say just buy the Elite and skip this one, not really worth the money. Elite: -Better engine, painted parts, decent detail, prop rod. Pipes are of gold-brass color. -Good interior, detailed, with realistic harnesses, however seat material is not. -Photo-etch grille and badges (Not the hood locks though) This one is a solid choice. A balance of quality and affordability. They are limited to 10.000 units per color i think. Super Elite -Best Engine, materials are better, better depth, better accuracy and scale. However no prop rod. Pipes are of a chrome material (good quality) -Best Interior, seats are made of alcantara, and realistic carbon fiber. -Photoetch Hood locks, much better front trunk, finer grilles (especially on exhaust area), better rims and locks, better brakes and calipers, Alloy exhaust mufflers and fire extinguisher brackets, Tyre branding, realistic windshield bolts, raised ferrari shields, as well as realistic carbon fibre decals all over. The best, but also the most expensive. I got mine for a very good price, however with very minor faults. Normal FXX is limited to 2006 Units, Schumacher FXX is limited to 5030 Units.

How does the hot wheels compare to BBR Diecast 2004 Ferrari Enzo Limited edition 1:18?
@ImperialDiecast2 жыл бұрын
the Hot Wheels retails for around 50 dollars, the BBR for something like 350, if you can find one. The BBR is better in every way, however, it is hard to tell the two apart from afar, for example if theyre sitting in a display cabinet.

Nice review :) I am thinking of starting a new collection. Which scale do you recommend to start with?
@ImperialDiecast5 жыл бұрын
Depends on where you live. In the US you can get 1/18 cars for 15 dollars but most everywhere else in the world they're over 40 bucks. So for starters I can recommend 1/24. It's a great combination of details, low price, opening parts and lots of supercars available. If detail becomes important you can always switch later!

I have a question. I have quite a few hot wheels Ferrari cars but I have no way of telling if they are the elite edition or the standard edition. I was told the only way to know is from the box which is quite odd. There should be a serial number?
@ImperialDiecast2 жыл бұрын
generally speaking, the elite ferraris have semi-raised window foils, carpeting in the footwells and photoetched grille meshes, while the basic hot wheels ferraris use closed grills.
