I actually hate that. Looks cheap. Just serve whole donuts and whole cream puffs. It looks bad presentation wise, cut in half. They fall over and the fillings come out. They have to put them in those little doilies and the mess gets everywhere. No thanks! Keep it clean, and serve them whole. No one is making you eat the whole thing? Or they could make smaller desserts. But to cut the crap in half? It’s not a cake. It’s made to be a single item.

When I went in 2003...yes 2003 to the Beau Rivage in Biloxi...they had their buffet with seafood (about 8 items) and other American type selections was about $33 after tax. Almost ALL of the seafood from that buffet right there on the coastline itself was from Asia, as was almost all of the fruit which was canned dumped into buffet trays. Never been back to a buffet since.

🌽 This restaurant is in the heart of Amish Country. I have been there twice, their fried Chicken is amazing. It is almost like Disney world in the way that you can't really do the whole restaurant in one sitting. If you really wanted to dive into all the breakfast stuff, the lunch and dinner, the soups and breads, not to mention the pastries and desserts. Unless you are Joey chestnut, or Eater X, you would get sick if you tried to eat everything that place has to offer in one day. Thankfully, that part of Pennsylvania is so beautiful that you don't mind making more than one trip. Plan out your family's birthdays because I am pretty sure they treat you extra special on that day... Great Place 🍗🍤

”Smörgåsbord” is a Swedish word which translates to “Sandwich table” and I do not see the sandwiches
@denisedivine42839 ай бұрын
Good to know! Here in the USA we’ve adopted the term to many different things or varieties of foods in one place. A popular smorgasbords is one in Bk. A whole bunch of food trucks come to one location and you can have your pick of food and drink.
@wouldyouratherchoose129 ай бұрын
@@denisedivine4283 I mean that’s not wrong! In Sweden a smörgåsbord is obviously a table filled with small dishes e.g. smoked salmon, ham, skagenröra(shrimps) etc. so I think it makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up for me!
