In that regard, he's very much like Kenneth Bright of "Fantasy Soft Entertainment", a guy who has been cosplaying as an anime "producer" since 2007. Except he's never done any of the work a producer needs to do, to you know...produce anything.

In fairness to the guy who was supposed to “get Tommy his money”, it’s possible he was cold calling people to try to find angel investors since that was Tommy’s original plan. Tommy allegedly had a meeting with a big money investor but when he made the hard sell with a terrible prototype the whole deal fell through, that is when Tommy started to crowd source. Tommy originally said he did not want to do things like Kickstarter because of scams like Coleco Chameleon, but changed his mind when his financial situation changed. But I do like your theory that everyone there knew the company was doomed and just worked second jobs on Tommys dime.

Speaking of Tommy being fake: I'm a musician, a DJ, and have been doing live sound for close to 2 decades. I have never seen a single piece of footage of Tommy actually playing a guitar. The only footage I've ever seen of Tommy with a guitar has been from his Video Games Live shows, and he's clearly miming to a backing track in all of it. I said this in the chat of a live stream interview he did some years back, and he ignored me. I ended up being kicked from the chat wheh I told him that he could prove me (and a few others) wrong by getting one of his guitars and playing it for 30 seconds on the stream. So I definitely have my doubts about Tommy being able to play guitar at all.

I did saw 2 other office videos, one with all tommy’s personal stuff, and another one with also some “budget guy”, while Tommy joking “he’s blowing all the Intellivision money”. Crazy in hindside, right!! I believe Phil Adams and John Alvarado were also in that video….

Leo, I think this fiasco started as an ego project (hence the stupid design of the controller by Tommy and John) and as soon as Nick and Phil got involved it became a full fledged scam. And Tommy played along, just like the rest.
