I'm bummed that you accidentally skipped over Empty Sky. That's what I'm looking to play for my next character.

Sorry about that, but I couldn't find any real world kitsune myths that correlated to the empty sky kitsune, other than the general idea that kitsune are magical and cast spells and have some connection to the spirit realms.

I'm not sure I understand the gaining of tails correctly... From my count as a non spellcaster Kitsune the most tails we can have is 7 (1+Levels 1, 3, 5, 9, 13 17). As a spellcaster that takes a spellcasting archetype can, at most gain 8 (if you take through Master Level Spellcasting feat, as you can cast rank 1 through rank 8 spells).... Only a base spellcasting class can gain 9. Is that correct? The only way to gain 9 is to be a pure spellcasting class?
