What a gloriously refreshing video by a normal person, not a full-time content creator!! This is what made KZbin great….until influencers got hold of it 🤬. Really interesting about how light-handed writers will get through very few pen tips, compared to heavy writers. That seemed to be a big gripe about the RM2

Thanks for the review. It was either this or the iPad and I’ll get way too distracted on the iPad. I like that it’s dedicated to one thing.

RIP headphone users.

Is it really loud? I edit with headphones and I've just listened back and it doesn't seem loud to me?

i think it's the intro volume and suddenness :)@@isobeljones

@@isobeljones I had to lower the volume to 2. Normally it's at 16

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I think with the latest updates you shouldn't be missing the eraser function on Marker Plus. You can double tap to erase ! I just had one question though, how does the screen surface feel like - plastic or glass ? Also, 2 things that I couldn't help but notice - 1. You have very unique & cozy room setup. 2. And that Cat in the frame is so damn cute.

Hi, I have the normal marker rather than the marker plus, so I can't use the back of the marker to erase (is what i was meaning, I'm bad at explaining 😂. The screen feels and sounds like your writing on paper, so I'd say slightly textured solid plastic is the best way to describe it! 1. Thank you, I really like interior design, I've spent a lot of time on my room 2. That was a cat I made friends with on holiday one year, but I also have a cat called Smokey and she's adorable too

A few people have asked about the screen surface so I've just posted a short showing reMarkable2 vs paper texture/ sound 😁

1. I guess your efforts paid off in the end. Your room was refreshingly raw & different from what I had usually seen. 2. Befriending a cat on a holiday - that sounds like a delightful experience! 😀 And yes am sure your Smokey is truly awesome in her own way. 😊

Great video, question what is the stand you use for your remarkable 2?
@isobeljones8 ай бұрын
Thank you! In the video, I'm using my acrylic iPad stand to have a better angle for the video. Personally, I wouldn't tend to use the remarkable on a stand, I'd just lay it flat on a table like i would a notepad. ReMarkable do sell their own folio cases, which I think have a stand bit built in, but it would be horizontal rather than portrait. I hope that helps!

nice review keep it up. DO you feel any reduction in battery life?
@isobeljones5 ай бұрын
I haven't noticed it taking longer to charge or losing charge. My problem is remembering to put it on charge when it's run out 😂

good reivew! the intro was too loud though, when you edit aim to keep any peaking between -12db and -6db :)
