​@@TheOriginalArchiethe reason for it is the more popular a chain is the more they fry in burnt oil. The chances of having food fried in fresh oil are lower at crowded spots. As they filter and re-use the oil for a week. If they sell less the oil will still be great at the end of the week.

Always go where it is less crowded. The other reason is the fact that the staff is most likely rushing to get the food done.

the mozz sticks were the only appealing food of the video. Everything looked like was frozen product (including the mozz sticks). $40 for a ton of frozen/fried food. Sweet.

Crown fried chicken is a staple in the hood over here in Rhode Island and they don’t miss at all. The fries aren’t soggy over here because they purposely open the lid slightly so that condensation doesn’t build up in the box. Never knew there was mozzarella on the menu! Looks busting. Great video!

Crown Fried Chicken is a chain that's not really a chain, in that we have a few of them up here in central Massachusetts. You're right in that they give you a ton of fries, but they're not great. I didn't think they were as terrible as you made them out to be. But the chicken is amazing. All of the ones around here have those Jamaican beef patties, but I've never seen sweet potato pie.
