I wish more bar style phones would be manufactured. While smart phones have their uses, they are major over kill for people who are work focused and don't want a large phone with all of it's mental and physical and privacy encumbrances.

Great review! I think it should be said that HMD (Nokia phone's owners) headquarters are opposite Nokia's head office, and the company is largely staffed by former Nokia executives. So it is pretty much Nokia? Nokia is also a partner in the company (according to Wikipedia). I think by saying these Nokia phones are owned by a private company, makes it sound like its nothing to do with the original Nokia company, which does an injustice to the phones I think.

Good review and useful info. You forgot a truly important feature: the battery life. How much it last with a normal use of calling and texting? Does the 2G version of this remake have a better battery life? And other one: can this phone configured to connect and use a 2G network (where it remains available), I think this would improve more this battery life. Thank you very much.

There are two versions of this phone. The first one released only has 2G, 16 MB of storage and costs €59. This version came in the colors: red (glossy), yellow (glossy), dark blue (matte) & grey (matte). The second version which released in 2018 runs on 3G, has 128 MB of storage and has a lower price of €49. It's available in the colors: yellow, warm red, charcoal & azure (all in a matte finish). I'm still thinking about which versions to choose since the 2G version has a lot more battery talk time and has the OG charcoal color, but it has no 3G and a higher pricetag... 😀

Yes. Go to settings, security, keyguard, & turn off. But will dial if it’s in a pocket and buttons press. Better to set timeout to 60 seconds instead of 20 in settings, system, and backlight timeout.
