What about the idea that he could in fact help the poor by, for example, selling his car (and riding a bicycle) and give that money towards a school or clean water or something? I do know where he's going w/ what he preaches about this but I don't really like when he says that him not having something extravagent won't help the poor...because in theory, it could. I welcome opinions, thoughts on this. :)

The Gnostics and Egyptian Texts says something similar about the regret about making man and the Ego and Human Thought. Rev. Like makes so much more sense now that I am an adult. A lady who used to babysit me who was not a religious woman used to listen to him (and would always say to people who would questioned why she listened to him) She said he's smarter than these other whoa is me preachers. At least he gets results. She loved the whole "God In Me" thing. I always thought he knew a lil more or used more knowledge in his sermons to benefit the people thus benefiting himself. Currency as energy circulating properly. Thanks for sharing his vids. I appreciate rediscovering his works.

Amen..all the church i been to no deliverance..the only deliverance i receive is listen to Rev Ike..some people have taken the word of god to another level..just think if people of the 🌎 would have listen to this..i.bet 🇺🇸 less killings,less evil, people loss..from false hope..back then i would listen to rev ike master his teachings. This is the first time i'm questioning rev. Ike on anything and i'll question him saying that being poor is a choice. Maybe to an extend as with everything. Question...does he mean to say that the people in africa and india who live in absolute poverty brought it upon themselves? All those helpless kids? I honestly don't think so. He makes a lot of valid points, but this is one that bothers me.

We can understand how you feel! Rev. Ike mostly ministered to a western audience, so his teachings were mainly centered around those definitions of success and poverty. What looks like abject poverty in one culture may be considered "well-off" in another. He didn't believe that young children brought misery upon themselves, but that they just got caught in the waves of their parent's decisions and actions. But once they are old enough to understand their own God-given power to be successful and prosperous, they can rise out of any situation. Peace and blessings to you! 💜
