Major Sandeep unnikrishnan AC sir is the reason I wanted to join the army he's my inspiration....it was may or June of the year 2007 (when I was just a year old) me and my parents were traveling from Bangalore to Delhi and we had an army officer sitting next to us...my father and him got into some talks and I remember my mom saying " woh fauji afsar kitna acha , he's a nice human , God bless him " later she told my dad that I want my son(me) to be like him (in terms of personality and behaviour)....and years later when I completed my 10th standard and was confused in life (didn't had my lakshya) I was watching this movie and at last there's a real picture of major Sandeep unnikrishnan AC my mom saw that and told " you remember we used to talk about an officer , that's him . I always wanted you to be like him " that's where I got inspired......my mom told that in terms of his personality and behaviour but in terms of his profession I understood.....that day was the day I decided that I'll join the army....

We lost capt. Pawan kumar when he was just 23 years old. It's hard to accept that someone can sacrifice himself at such a young age. Ajj bhi unke maa baap se milta hu to unki ankhon mein wo dard dikhta h. Pr hamesha ek hi baat unki jubaan pr hoti h " mujhe mere bete pr garv h". And I'm speechless at that time, I can never feel that pain but I can understand that pain. Badi khushi se wo capt. Pawan ki batein batate h. Pr andar hi andar wo dukhi hote h. Bohot baar asun bhi ajate h pr us waqt ham kuch nhi kar pate. Main or Mera dost ek hi baat kehte ke sir app hamein bhi kuch saalo mein un jaisa hi paoge. Ham unhi ki tarah ban na chahte h. I'm proud of him not because he was from my city or from my state. The 26/11 incident was almost like everything and everyone was against our armed forces, at first after hearing the gunshots the police thought it might be some gang violence but later realized it was terrorist attack soon the Marcos commando which were available at the nearest naval base were sent in, remember almost all the Marcos and their best weapons were in the sea as they had gone to an naval exercise so the remaining Marcos had just base ak to deal with terrorists. Now the NSG was on standby in manesar but there was no plane available to airlift them, at first 500 commandos were to go to Mumbai but due to lack of transport aircraft only 120 commandos could go. The media did a big blunder because they literally showed The NSG commandos live and broadcasted their weapons and entryway live. The NSG commandos didn't have any floor plan while the terrorist had the blueprint of the hotel and they knew it inside out. The terrorists had all the names of the guests and the staff too, they were instructed that those who are outside the hotel kill everyone mercilessly and those who are inside the hotel kill all except muslims. And they even tied kalawa to their wrists to make the attack look like it was done by some extremist hindu group but later was discovered that they were from pakistan as kasab was caught. After this the NSG improved a lot they started to make bases at all the major cities and gave order for new MP5 and started to train with elite CT/CI forces like GSG9. Jai Hind.
