Using settingspray before or after mascara can have an effect on the flakiness and smudging of it if you get it on your eyes! Might also affect gresing of eyeshadows 😬

If you're looking for more eyeshadow primers for a comparison video, I'd love to know how the Ulta matte one holds up! Milani has long been my Holy Grail, too, but I've also been experiencing creasing issues lately. I think it's no match against some of the newer, more emollient shimmer formulas.

I recommend the Kiko Milano Eye primer, and also the one from Beauty Bay. It also comes in a slightly tinted version, which I like.

I had that issue with all of my eyeshadow primers. I have super oily lids and the BEST thing I’ve discovered is the Danessa Myricks yummy skin blurring balm powder. I got the mini set with the tiny blush and balm powder and it has been the best eye primer I’ve ever found. If I’m having a super bad day I’ll double prime with the balm powder set with a light layer of setting powder then use the ULTA matte eyeshadow primer on top but, that can be a bit too much if I’m not careful.

I love this length on you I have been going back and forth about Nomad’s Ghost town palette for awhile now. Now I’m going between Ghost Town and Chicago Speak Easy. I guess at some point I will make my decision lol

The Ulta Matte eyeshadow primer is great. They repackaged their line recently but the primer seems like the formula is the same

Came here to comment this. The Ulta matte eye primer has been crease proof for me. I also use the NYX glitter primer for shimmers and set my primer with setting powder instead of eyeshadow. Lots of folds and creases over here. 😬 😅

Honestly, I loved just about everything you recommend. You are one of the few that I truly trust a review from. But the Milani Eyeshadow was horrendous on me. I have Asian mono eyelids and it creased with 1-2 hours. I was just itching to try something new, so I went for it. But the NYX Ultimate shadow and liner primer is my holy grail and I will never stay again!
