The first time I ate at Angkor Wok was last year during Khmer New Year with my sisters. This year, I return with my niece Selena and my Nephew Alex and some friends. The food is consistently delicious and it hit the spot with authentic Khmer flavors. We ordered Somlar Machu Kroeung (Tamarind & lemongrass base sour beef soup with tripe and intestines) - My favorite, Steak, Tripe, & Tongue with Prahok, Somlar Kari (Cambodian Curry) Selena ordered a tradtional noodle dish called Nom banhchok with consist of rice noodles and fish, and Alex had the whole fried fish with tamarind sauce. Overall, Angkor Wok has the most thorough Cambodian Menu in Seattle mixed in with modern day american/chinese options such as fries, walnut shrimp, teriyaki and boba. They also serve beer and wine. This place needs more love so if you're visiting Seattle, make this a top destination spot for delicious Khmer Eats!
