This is amazing!! I do however have families with a nested void family which it won't work with. Is there a work around for that? My family is an insulation tie for a precast panel.

Hei Im currently working on a bridge model using revit. When I try to join girder (structural framing) and slab (generic floor) using revit's join default command, the error say 'cant cut joined elements'. Since we have the same geometry (structural framing and floor) and you succeeded using join command, maybe you can help enlighten me what might be the problem is? Thank you in advance

Hey. There might be a couple issues there. Usually if you want to create a cutout in a floor with beam you use join command instead of cut. I know this is counter intuitive but most beams, the default one you have in your autodesk folder work like that. The other thing is that beam behaviour will differ depending on the setting Material Behaviour. For example concrete beam will join automatically, precast beams won't. I will try to record something soon about it.
