And if you are asking about the adaptive family.. I haven't thought about it. but i think you'd better divide a roof face to few rectangle areas around the opening you want. i suppose it will work.

To make this family, you need to know how to use Adaptive Component & Pattern Based & Divide Path. You can find somewhere else to learn these features. If I record all the process of making this, it's going to be very long and boring video. And i rarely share my families. I prefer sharing my tips only. Sorry. Thanks for watching :-)

Awesome work! Is it possible for you to make a similar family but instead use a corrugated iron material? If not, I'll see if I can follow your techniques. The Spanish tile is very heavy on Revit and slows it down considerably, but it makes for much better renders!

oh that.. it's quite simple, just replace the tiles you want to remove with Empty System Panels after unpin them.
