Hello! One more trick. You can assign model text to a regural text parameter, not only multi-line text. In this case first we create text parameter and after this we assign model text parameter to our new text parameter. It allows you to add some formulas. For example I use this to make warnings for users if they put wrong values in parameters. And we don't need to open serapate window to eneter text. However it's comfortable only with short text.

This is a very good video, Phil. Thanks for sharing. It would be good if the programmers could enable the association of the type of font with a parameter, and another one for a property that is missing: width factor.

I agreed. This limitation has been around for years. It would be good if Autodesk considers this as feature improvement.

Hi Phillip, these are some powerful insights on model texts. I had a question about being able to parameterize fonts but you responded it at the end of the video. Model texts on steroids could be the name of this video!

Glad you liked it! I would still limit on a few types of font within 1 family. And yes this is a much better way to manage them as family as supposed to so many system types.
