This was a great start however, by adjusting the family 2" up, you can make a tighter reveal around the edge of the roof. Thanks for a great tutorial.

Good morning maidum. I couldn't create family generic metric curtain pattern base. Because, in the family you are telling. According to him, such a family is not made in my revit software. During creation more thick line made.So I request you to kindly tell me another way. thank you

In the family file, select the surfaces and give it the material parameter and then assign material to it.

But i think u need good system to use this kind of family.give some tips so that system will not be hanged .

You can omit the battens part while placing the tiles. And you can place the tiles on that part of the roof from where you want to have a render. Mostly these tiles are used on the roofs of a residential project and usually the projects of houses are of smaller scale so I think the system will not cause any problem.

The pause button is a great tool to use, I use it on all the tutorials I watch... It is not their job to slow down for you, use your pause button when you need it.
