It started last October 2023. Private/Government project sharing sa gastos. I won’t comment if I don’t know. I watch the opening & they informed the public about that project. Those informal settlers will be given pabahay. SMC are in charge of cleaning, dredging the rivers.

Good start of the PRUD program to rehabilitate and beautify the Pasig River. The new esplanade at the backside of the post office looks great. Perhaps what needs to be done to make the post office more beautiful is to paint the roof and repair other portions that still require to be finished. It's a good legacy for PBBM and his FL.

That beautiful Esplanade was apart of the vision of Honorable Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso in transforming,beautifying the Capital City of Manila into its former glory as”Pearl of the Orient” ,Manila would be like Singapore. . The foundation pillars of that Esplanade were built during the Administration of Mayor Isko. The back of that Historic Post Office was filled with informal settlers/ squatters. His Administration cleared the place and made the street cleared and passable. If not for the Pandemic, more progress would have been done. Secretary Jerry Acuzar was also a consultant,contributor in the restoration and beautification of another Historic Landmark, Jones Bridge. Those beautiful,hand carved lamp post like those of Jones Bridge were carved by Artists from Paete, Laguna. Another lasting Legacy of Mayor Isko and his Administration. Mabuhay Bagong Manila.

What's the use of beautification if these things are not taken cared of: 1.) Pasig river stinks and needs to be rehabilitated. Walking on a very nice esplanade does not make any sense if you get the smell of poop from the nearby Pasig river, 2) No maintenance. After a year or so, it's back to the same garbage like condition. A typical Pinoy habit, good in the beginning and everything goes after. I am for a change definitely. However, I do not appreciate a temporary Band Aid for this problem. Fix the wound and do not just cover it.

Buong city of maynila po is under revitilization dahil gagawin po talagang tourist spot ang City of Maynila dahil marami tayong historical buildings and lugar sa area na yan. Kaya marami talagang gagwing developement dyan.

Sana pagandahin din nila ang kahabaan ng Recto tsaka Quiapo to Morayta... Dyan yung maraming business areas... Maganda kasi kung maging super safe, super ganda, at super linis yung area ng U-belt... Malaking kita dito sa Australia dahil sa foreign students... Sa U-belt nag-iineroll yung mga mga arabo at koreans... magandang investment for Manila kung lalo nilang pagagandahin...

This is great to see , much more need's to be done to clear the squatters , they have no respect for the surroundings they don't know what cleanliness means just throw their garbage anywhere so sad to see .. security would be one way to go to stop them moving in again ..I remember what it was like before ..👍👍
