The Lord is the spirit. And where the spirit of the lord is, there is liberty. My Lord is Jesus, not God the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life: you can't come to the Father except through HIM.

@@fromlaodiceatophiladelphia1233 You aren't applying the scriptures concerning the Holy Spirit of God correctly. Also I simply quoted bible verses, I'm not adding or subtracting from them. What do you think the Holy Spirit is, some force? It's a person that can be grieved, lied to and resisted, its often referred to as "He". He knows things, which requires an intellect, He convicts of sin, He intercedes between persons, the Holy Spirit is God. I don't fully understand it and I don't anyone can or will in this life because God is past finding out.

@@Sydneysss Three in one doctrine adds someone who is not there according to scripture. I and My Father are one. The testimony of 2 men is true. Also, there is no throne for the holy spirit in Rev 22:3. God and Jesus are omnipresent through their spirit. That's why the HS is called the spirit OF God and the spirit OF christ. The spirit is part of their being because they both have the nature of God. Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the SPIRIT, if indeed the SPIRIT OF GOD dwells in you. Now IF ANYONE DOES NOT HAVE THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST, HE IS NOT HIS. 10 And if CHRIST IS IN YOU, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Col 1:27 Christ in you; the hope of glory. Jesus dwells in you through his spirit. Paul talks about death to self, alive to christ. As Jesus said in John 14, I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you. There is 1 mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus
