About the most useless video I’ve ever seen. Clearly he doesn’t know that the 18v and 20v are the same. As for mounting post dewalt mod just buy a dewalt drill mount.

Swap ability is a big benefit. You can have one battery charging while you're using the other and you can pretty much continually use it. And if you have a 4-bay charger or multiple you won't run out of battery you'll just keep on swapping. And if you go with the Whiteley aftermarket DeWalt batteries that are 1/4 the price and they are very very good cells in them. The one downside is they're plastic does not have fiber reinforcement thereby making their shells not strong I use these industrially and still don't have issues with it

My wife can it without swapping for a week. And she’s a clean freak. That’s using a 6ah battery, not using max, and doing 2 stories of the house.

Adapter you recommended works only with Dewalt battery according to Amazon. If you're not on Dewalt platform that'll cost more that getting OEM Batteries losing the charger stand.

Thank you for your video! I installed the adapter on our Dyson V8 Absolute. I used a Milwaukee XC 5.0 battery, but only get 30 minutes on high. It is certainly better than the 5-6 minutes on a Dyson battery. However, 30 minutes seems short for a power tool battery. Will the batteries you use last longer on high?

I’m confused. Can anyone tell me if you use the charger that comes with this vacuum to charge the yellow batteries?

You take the battery out when it’s dead and charge it with the DeWalt charger.

Only thing is the milwaukee and dewalt batteries are 5 cell and the dyson battery is a 6 cell. You get longer runtime but reduced power.

Incorrect. You would think that, but I didn’t see a difference on it. Did another video, linked in description, looking at power and run time. You don’t see a difference in power. Plus you can run on Max power if you need more power to suck on dirt.

Can you do a video of max run time using a variety of dewalt batteries? Of course it would have to be sped up but looking into going this way since a OEM replacement is 99 plus tax and probably won’t last anywhere as long as a big dewalt

Sounds like you need to clean and clear the dirt collector
