This is exactly what I was thinking. Dont get hyped up by the removal of battle pass. This is funcom telling the players that: "it is not worth our time and money to create 60 items for only $10, and hence, we are taking it off." For the 6 month update change, it is just an indication that they are moving their team onto some other task that is not Conan related.

Absolutely correct analysis. No more BP is just a good news, ppl will still buy overpriced stuffs via the Baazar. Also every 6 month is good, will be better also every year, or also, don't update a crap, consider also anytime they do, they do a crappy work and the game broke heavily. Bad news for the content creators. 😅

The thing about the battle pass is youtubers are not the ideal reference for if it's good or not. You guys have just about nothing, but time to play this by the seems of it. When you take a regular 8-5 worker they don't get the same time you do to play. Some people who have the time might just not play the game enough because they are splitting time between other games. The battle pass did offer things yes. Though the issue with it is it was too greedy and needed you to not only pay, but then require you to spend time you might not have to get something you want. Basically it was just taking peoples money. Oh and just because there is that person out there waiting to say "I work an 8-5 and I was able to do it". Good for you and I'm happy that you were able to do it. Though just because you were able to make it work doesn't mean others were able to. They should have stuck to DLC and now they are going to more than likely move it to the bazaar to get as much money for as little value for us as possible. For example selling 2 items for like 5-10 dollars. Meanwhile you look at the dlc and it was so much for a good price. Don't encourage these practices. You might like it in the short term, but ultimately it can dive into a bad deal.

You had to pay ONCE LOL. And on solo play you could spend ten to fifteen minutes every three days to max it out easily, or with the last one 5 minutes a day under a week. Ya, you don't get the consumables everywhere, but they were trash anyways. I paid 10 dollars when it first came out .... and NOTHING on any other battle pass, yet I had all the cosmetics/base items from every battle pass along the way.

The issue is you are wrong. It took a lot longer than 15 minutes for 3 days each to finish it. You are either over generalizing or don't realize how long it actually took. Going from 1 to 10 took a couple of hours. You are minimalizing the fact of paying money by saying just once. I know it was just once and it doesn't matter how many times you pay. Money is money and if you are not able to do it that is still wasted money. Battle passes have always been bad. Keeping in mind this was also with the help of grinding them with the admin console in single. It also seemed to have gone over your head that just because you or others were able to that it didn't mean everyone else was able to.

​@@wolfhound146 Agreed. I got sick of grinding. It turned the game into another job. Worst of all, if something major came up with my job, then I could end up pulled away for weeks. I come back to find out they declared what I purchased to be "over". As far as I'm concerned, the pass is over when _I_ click the complete button even if it years later. It should be my decision, not theirs, and if they don't like it... Then my money goes elsewhere.

I am super excited they are doing away with the battle pass because I hate exclusive items you can only get once, I tend to take breaks and can’t play for months and miss out on very cool cosmetics which is what I love about Conan and it sucks I miss them. Every six months of an update is fine by me as well, I agree that more time spent on development is better than quick development with lots of problems. Thanks for the video! Love your channel 😁😁

I played through the battle pass that released a few months ago, but I didn’t quite understand from this video if there will be one more battle pass or if they’re 100% over? Haven’t logged into the game for a while either. 😅 I actually would have been fine with them keeping the battle pass. It was easy enough for me to log in one morning each weekend to work through it over a month’s time. The item shop is what I hate the most. Everything was overly priced (compared to what $10 USD got you for purchasing the battle pass initially) and the FOMO was unreal.

would love a more random follower drop for bounty hunting. By that I mean when you get followers, especially T4 ones, from that or from the tavern they get a random name generation and a race, and the race decides the stat lines. That is how it already works in game just now make their names and face/body sliders random. I would also like to see more than one set stat line per race. At least 2. Maybe based on melee or ranged or something like that. Also right now many of the followers already have a somewhat random face generation or body. Just open up those sliders more and add random name generation for those coming out of the tavern or bounties.

The reduction of content means less people on Conan Exiles. I would guess the bulk of the team is being shifted to their new MMO Dune Awakening, and that game will be the primary focus as it will be a steady stream of cash. Online services and such, and do not be to surprise if Dune does not end up as another AoC, Exiles will be on the back burner.

Lot of ppl said also servers are already empty a lot compared to the past. The greedy policies looks work on the short time, but meanwhile new and better game comes, and the fan base move to other more interesting things. I really hope they will start to milk players using Dune instead that CE, and also, don't touch the game anymore. And about sell crap to person's, also make a permanent market, with no FOMO. Finally some good news.

Competition is such a healthy thing. Soulmask started blowing Conan Exiles out of the water and fakcom immediately reacted finally doing something good instead of shitty age of microtransactions.

The less they update and break the game, the better. I would just prefer they spend the rest of the time until Dune is launched (and they abandon the game) in fixing bugs and crashes. After that, if they wanted to release DLC or bizarre items, that's fine, but fix the issues first

Yes yes ! nice update They nerfed the bearers again again. Again twice is not a typing mistake. So kind of funcom. Added more bugs cause the game was pefectly playable and smooth so new bugs is just a breath of fresh air. Who need strong pets ? From now on they only serve as decorations for your awesome base. Just like taxidermy. Perfect ! Exactly what i wanted.

Removing the battle pass gives me even less reason to stay longer in conan exiles. The Battle pass content has gotten worse with each update armorwise imo. The prices in the bazaar are still unreasonably high for what is given even tho they said they would look into it several months ago. Now with even rarer updates (2 "big" updates per year) without a battlepass and without anything else that keeps me engaged on the game (except doing the same little events with the same traders and the same item rewards over two years) there will be no reason to visit the game anymore for at least half a year. a bit disncouraging.

The only thing good with the battle pass was that you could just pay for it once and get the coins back to buy the next one free of charge. You could/can do the challenges in 5min in single player mode. I defenetly dont like this change. It seems like they want to milk us... Heres something for Funcom to think about: GIVE PVP SOME LOVE!!!! And Siptah needs some love too ffs!

Conan is dead. Where they are failing miserably is map updates and new dungeons. It needs a whole new overhaul or just go away. Its run its course.
