Great job! It's nice to see a nice digital watch get a new life. I also don't think I've seen a digital watch with a crown before either. I'm glad that you were able to salvage a part from the rusted donor watch and of course you were able to figure out how to fix the battery lead with your skills. Enjoy the watch!

Got the very same watch/model. But…impossible to unscrew the battery lid. It is welded-alike -.-

I had the same issue with this watch as well. You need to take off the case back and work on the battery hatch from the inside. Use some lubricant first, give it a time to get between the case and battery hatch, and then use tweezers to move the hatch in the correct direction. Thanks for watching!

Is that normal for the polariser to make the watch screen turn dark when you change its angle? I have quite a few LCD watches and none of them do that.

I've read some comments where people had a LCD screen turning blank when they looked at the watch through polarized glasses.

@@ValentechTime yes that would happen, it happens when I look at an LCD display through my polarised filter on my camera, but not to the naked eye, does that watch go blank to the naked eye?

@@nickfatsis9607 This watch doesn't present this effect, but could be less visible under angles close to 90 degrees and if there is not enough light around. And the screen shows colors of rainbow under different angles.
