I had a 1990 2.5 turbo Voyager. My friends and I tuned it up. Everything from exhaust to transmission mods, boost control and throttle body adjustments and even an intercooler. That thing screamed. Fastest car I ever owned and it was a minivan.

Love this redesign!! I have a soft spot for the early Voyager/Caravan. Unfortunately, they are harder to find now than many elite supercars as most have been scrapped. My favorite would have to be an '89 with the 2.5 turbo and 5spd manual in faux wood trim. True sleeper if tuned right.

Back in those days vans only had the rear door on the passenger side, the thnking was to stop kids being able to get out into traffic. But it was a pain in the butt for global sales, and then extended families started trucking grandma in the back too, so easier to have doors on both sides. Also interesting how much mroe headroom old vans had over modern ones. The roof lines taper so hard now, the third row can be quite squishy.

I used to work for a used car guy. He called himself the caravan man. He sold the first generation caravans voyagers and what not when the second generation came out. So everybody that really wanted one but couldn't get a new one. Came to him and bought a used one

I could see this as a series Hybrid (like a prius) with a total EV option/package as an extra or side grade. I just don't see it not having slide both side as an option.
