Reviving the Glory of Lahore Fort

The centuries-old Lahore fort, in Pakistan, and its surroundings are going through a vast regeneration plan. It comes after years of unchecked urban growth and decay. The Agence Française de Développement has been partenring with the Punjab Government, the World Bank, the Aga Khan Trust for Culture and the Walled City of Lahore Authority since 2022 to fund part of the project. It is expected to develop tourism, improve the urban infrastructure and lives of local residents.
