But there are 14 manvantars and in one which is Tamas one shiv Purana is written in which Krishna gives supremacy to Shiva .It is deeply explained by Jiva goswami. Whatever is written in Shiva Purana is true but for that manvantara.But in others Krishna is supreme and likewise while creating the universe Brahma writes in Brahma samhita : Ishwara Parama Krishna Sacchidanad Vigrah Anadiradir govinda sarva Karan karanam.
