I've been contemplating purchasing this dryer for a while now, and have seen a number of reviews from KZbinrs on this item, and they all come back with the same opinion. Yours is the first one that said you weren't blown away, (no pun I tended!) I trust you on this one, and am going to give it a pass. Thank you for your honest review!

I had the other version and loved it UNFORTUNATELY It literally destroyed my fine thin hair to complete breakage and major frizz roots to mid shaft which is not typical for me normally my problem areas are mid shaft to ends. I tried using it on the lower settings but my hair looked awful.

Oh no that happens to me when i use a flat iron even on low heat of 200imagine, so best i started using the vo5 frizz cream before using a blowdrier and it helps my hair not break.

I have the clairol hot blowdrying brush , and the 1 st telvon one step! I have fine hair that is curly in the summer and straighter in the winter! It is medium length! Just off shoulders by 3 inches! I get quick drying with the Revlon one step , but need serval volume zing products to make it a fuller blow out! With the Clairol hot blow dryer curling brush! It takes longer on the very mild slow heat of the high level, but it does add more volume and blow dried curls to my hair! I tend to use the Revlon more often in the winter just to get my hair dried quicker, and have to use the curling wand or the Clairol hot blow brush to add finishing curls! Also the clairol hot curler brush has two different bristle stripes of brushes to use and that would add to the equation!

Thanks! I will look into that one!

I ended up buying the dyson air wrap after using the revlon on high heat it destroyed my breakage prone hair unfortunately I don’t think my hair can handle the direct heat so I am back to using my blow dryer and big round brush so I can hold the heat at a further distance while quickly moving the air in an effort to avoid to much contact with the heat.
@StylesBySummer2 жыл бұрын
The high heat on this is real hot! I want to try the airwrap to see if it will give me more volume because their brush sizes are smaller!

I have the yellow one from Macys, I ordered like over a year when the pandemic and all was closed. I used twice since I forgot that I have it I will give another try just to see, but I have shorter hair cut now than before. I think like you said long hair length will work better and faster, just me view but could be wrong 😑 too
@StylesBySummer2 жыл бұрын
I think I'm going to try and find one that's smaller and see if that works better to add volume.

@@StylesBySummer Hey Summer drybar is the brand that I got, double shot, they have another single shot round. I was researching a bit more for their hair products Southern Belle but they’re bit hard to find since it’s their best out there for bouncing hair. I got a sample w the hair dryer volume-roots boosting roots lifter, I used n love it but in the morning before heading out or special occasions bc is a bit strong but not in a bad way. It leaves your hair smelling beautiful the whole day. Not sure if you had try it before but if not try too, it’s their drybar Southern Belle hair line. Have a nice day.

Beautiful tutorial. Thank YOU! Would you say the "cool setting" is like "room temperature"? Or it's lower than medium heat, but it's still warm to you??? I'd really appreciate it if you can help me figure that out. Love💕

As it gets so hot, do you think the Revlon brush damages the hair over time?
@StylesBySummer2 жыл бұрын
You want to definitely make sure you are using a heat protectant with it, as yes, over time without one it can be damaging!
@leapintothewild2 жыл бұрын
Used a few times and threw it away, even though I was looking for an alternative since arthritis makes it so hard to hold both my HUGE round brush and a separate dryer on long, very thick hair. Nope! (1) Too hot. (2) ‘Cool shot’ doesn’t work because the barrel is too hot. (3) Makes a ton of frizz and flyaways if the brush is under the hair to make volume like a traditional round brush. So disappointed!!

Maybe one of these might help! kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppauaqqvermMjc0 I really liked the T3 and the Conair was great too!
