To me, the top spec RTR looks to be of a better deal on paper, it's 50k cheaper on-road than the Duke as well. Sure, it is slower but not by couple of seconds.

They are competitors in Europe from decades afterall! In any case it doesn't matter as both engines display totally different characteristics in a lot of parameters..
