Absolutely love the Nitro 4 Tec mate, I’ve actually got 1 I’m restoring myself. Unfortunately can’t find an engine mount for it tho and there’s none at all available here😩. Been looking at the remote start idea & looked over your set up as close as I could as best I could. Would absolutely love to have a quick how to guide on that one..

I had that same engine on my old revo. Blew my diffs every time i drove it. It was fun while it lasted though

Can you please list a step by step with parts list to accomplish remote start on a revo 3.3 with ez start? Do you recommend replacing the starter with a brushless? Do i scrap the 6v battery and replace with a lipo? What model esc? Why do i need a glow plug igniter, can't i just use the battery voltage In unison with the starter power?

I do have a bit of a tutorial on another video dude. There are too many variables to give a specific parts list as such, depends on your radio gear etc and your truck setup. 6v battery won’t crank it fast enough, so yes my preference is lipo. Also the stock starters should handle 12v but are not very reliable even on 7.2v not long after I shot this video the starter fried on my 4tec so that is now brushless too. As for the glow igniter, the glow plug only requires 1.2-1.5v (depends on plug) so if you run starter voltage through it, it will simply burn up instantly. Many ways of doing it, will help as I can

Kevin's video didn't help at all. I mean it gave the hope, but the guys who did the job, nor kevin explained it properly. They overcomplicated it And they won't answer to explain in detail. This actually gives more detail and proper explaination. Thank you
