I think they're music, particularly the guitar playing is a bit out there and dare I say "nerdy" but yeah they got some really cool although weird riffs that might make the project as a whole hard for some metal fans to digest.

Hey, I love Trivium, but Matt is nowhere near Dave's level. Not only technically, but Dave's riffing is so much more intriguing musically speaking, most likely due to his experience with jazz chords and polyrhythms. Then again, that's my opinion

Very patient and passionate. So I had an online lesson for an hour with him but showed up 10 minutes late and thankfully he stayed and didn't count the lost minutes.He loves to toy with the Lydian b7 which is pretty cool in my humble opinion and even managed to help me with ideas for a track. Near the end I got to learn the arpeggios for A Debt to the Grave, so that was cool. Overall a good and accessible teacher!

It’s a shame that such talented musicians, such as Dave, don’t get paid well enough to have newer cars. Especially when these talentless hacks like Lil Yachty and Lil Uzi Vert make millions just talking stupid nonsense and making dumb sounds. I remember back in the 80’s and 90’s when actual musicians could make good money. Still keep doing what you love, we appreciate it.
