Amazing effort Atul. I've been coming back nearly everyday for some time now. I just finished reading Lowell Thomas's book, In Arabia with Lawrence. Thomas's admiration for Lawrence is what made the Lawrence of Arabia legend. For those who want to know more about this most extraordinary man, take a look at Lawrence's other important work, The Mint. It's his account of his going into obscurity upon entering the Royal Air Force as a raw recruit under an assumed name. He was at the time, one of the most famous figures from WWI. Yet here he is being abused by camp drill instructors who were unaware of his true identity. One night, Lawrence felt the need to remove his portrait from the mess hall where it was hung in proximity to that of the King. Trurly, his life's story would be hard to believe if the evidence didn't back it up.
