The thing I love most about hip hop is seeing the progression in not only production value and the lyrics of the records but the progression over time in the mentality of the artists themselves. Getting to see a young hungry, sometimes hostile/reckless competitively flamboyant rapper evolve and transcend into a philanthropic mentor who gives you the game in such an effective and poetic way while building up the people around them intentionally creating millionaires. 2 of my favorite artists ever. Yal don't know how influential these men were at the peak of their careers and still to this day.
