This is reminiscent of my college days as a little Maryland girl at Morgan State University where our college parties were comprised of every legend mentioned on this platform. A time that I will never forget and an era that made me appreciate music made just for us! This show was AMAZING and took me down a path full of memories that made me who I am today! What a GIFT to our culture!!!! Thank you Drink Champs!!!! And don’t be mad at Common for choosing KRS-One. KRS-One was a teacher, taught us to appreciate “us” as a people, and aligned with the Black church which was very much aligned with Black culture…..as Common Mentioned! KRS-One made us feel empowered and like Black people were actually in the Bible, I understand why he chose KRS-One over Rakim!
