Thanks, actually it was a question for me, that was answered today. Applying a vacuum would definitely make the process faster. However, not sure which sealing process works better and safer. Most lure makers use either super glue or wood sealer. Some like "Bejan" uses a thick white liquid in a jar which could be the same material as you use but in white.

My way of sealing protects wood inside also. If you seal it only on top you leave wood untreated inside. Anything happens to lure, like crack or chip after you hit rock, lure is dead, water will finish the lure very fast. But not in my case as all wood holds plastic inside 😁

@@mrbal7778 yeah, not sealing a wooden lure, specially balsa , leads to end of lure... I learned it many years ago when I first started making them... I know using a very thin super glue is very helpful special on porous balsa wood, as balsa absorbs thin super glue and after drying gives it a very hard surface, hence, protecting the lure from impacts and toothy fish alike. This product you apply, does it make the lure surface harder?

@@kamarte yes, it makes lire hard, and not only hard on surface but inside also. As i have explained, acetone evaporates and plastic inside and outside hardens, so it’s kind a half plastic half wood
