Really liked the color/linear burns in this, the creative uses of the pre-existing silhouettes as mattes, and the refreshingly different presentation of the road scenes starting at 2:20. Also, your video description. That is the most succinct and easily digestible summary and explanation of Utena I've ever heard. I guess that's why you get paid the big bucks for presentation. 👌🏾 ❤️

Thanks man! Interestingly enough the silhouettes in source are a garbage luma mask. The colors are off and blend just enough that you have to really color correct to be able to use it. Lol I think that’s why I’ve never seen this move in another Utena video. And ahaha I’m glad you liked the description. Utena makes the most sense in amvs

Yo, Vita!! I'm still glad you're going through my recent stuff! Those starting silhouette scenes, to me, underscore that the source of Utena/Anthy's power is consensual and the antagonistic couple's relationship is contractual in nature and therefore a weaker power. Everything in and behind the silhouettes I added to add to that concept. I'm glad that even if you don't know the plot, you can still feel it in your bones!
