Thank you for this! It’s so encouraging to see a younger generation who cares about our loved ones and about us. Can’t wait to hear if and access the resources coming next year. And thank you, Dr Natalie, for caring for the caregivers so much. 😍

I am my mom's Caregiver. She has dementia although I don't know which. I have cared for her for the past 2 years. At this point she can't be left alone for more than a very short time. I have 3 other living siblings but due to work or health isn't able to do a great deal. The thing I find is the hardest to get resources for is "babysitting" her so I can get "down time".

One health issue closely aligned with Alzheimers (may not be associated with other forms of dementia) that I don't hear mentioned is hearing loss. AARP's six pillars don't include hearing loss.

Uncorrected Hearing loss certainly increases risk for Alzheimer’s

Thank you for your KZbin videos they are helpful, and I share them with my Brother, as we are going to have more involvement of our Mom’s care. I would like to make you aware of some books that are absolutely amazing…. Brain Saver and the companion book Brain Saver protocols by Anthony William. I am implementing this info in my health so I won’t get a diagnosis of brain problems in my future. Take a look, they are amazing! Thanks again.

It is sad that currently if a spouse or adult child is taking care of a loved one & they live in the home they can NOT get paid for their time and caregiving that is truly provided 24/7@@rhondasingley7211

I wonder if there is an equivalent service in Canada? I’ve been in touch with Alzheimer’s BC. It seems unless you get a case manager, there’s no help.
