Wei Koh has super energy. Ben and Wei are just 2 very different personalities but brings their own magic to the watch industry in their own way. There was a time when everyone slated Wei for talking too fast/much but if you understand him he is just very passionate and it just oozes out of him in how he conducts his interviews. Both are very entertaining in their own ways. I enjoy both sides.
@jamesestrada824 жыл бұрын
Not sure why so many people give Wei shit for interjecting at times. After all, this is his channel, and he’s the interviewer... What I love about Wei, is that he’s genuinely pumped throughout (that’s called passion) and is actually making good conversation with Ben! How boring would the interview be if he asked the questions, then straight up posted?!
@Luke.Cooking2 жыл бұрын
Because Wei makes it about himself. This is about Ben’s collection and his ideas. All the S- is warranted.

The moment I saw that specific Vacheron, I told myself that I will acquire it once I have the means, regardless of how much it costs by the time I’m able. I haven’t lusted after a watch like this before. It’s just an aesthetic masterpiece... perfect proportions, dial color, packaging, back story, and also the additional straps... great job on that Ben 👏. Perfectly executed.

Art is not about price- it's about the experience...…..the emotion........the beauty and appreciation for what it is...…….art. If I want to know what time it is - that's what my cell phone is for. Great interview. Their views on discounting, though, are a tad misguided and self-serving (as retailers). Even luxury sports cars (that are considered works of art by many) can and are discounted. It’s a natural part of business. Bartering has been in existence since trade no matter the item. Other than that, great interview... though not a huge fan of Ben. Love me some Wei!!
@stevenp.sparks29532 жыл бұрын
Discounting is in no way a "natural part of business", and bartering is a completely different concept. Tell ya what: Go to your nearest Patek, AP, Tiffany, etc. boutique, and tell them that discounting is just a part of doing business. They'd escort you to the door, and lock it behind you. I could go on to further defend my position on retail economics, but the simple facts do it for me. Their "views that are a tad misguided" must be the reason that their limited edition watches all sell out, many in astoundingly record time. No....wait......that just proves that you've little to no idea of what you're talking about. Not trying to make it personal, but having spent half of my life in retail, both as an employee and an owner, misguided comments like yours make my head explode......lol
